Tim developed a deep passion for the livestock industry having grown up working on his family’s sheep property in Southern NSW. Tim now lives with his family on a farm at Wagga Wagga where they run both sheep and cattle with an evidence-based & profit-driven approach - the same approach he uses for assisting clients market their livestock.
Prior to working in the livestock industry, Tim had experience in various agricultural commodities, having worked for multinational agribusinesses Olam and Cargill across wool, cotton, almond and grain value chains. Having experience in other commodities provides him with a unique skillset, enabling him to see opportunities to ‘do things better’ in the livestock industry.
Tim sees huge potential for the livestock industry to streamline the value chain to dramatically improve profitability and traceability for producers and processors. He is committed to bringing all parties in the value chain closer to drive improved economic and animal welfare outcomes, through advocating increased collaboration.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University (ANU), is a licenced Stock & Station agent and is a Level 1 Auctionsplus Sheep & Cattle assessor.
